Questions

What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive Subdermal Adipose Remodeling Device (SARD), intended for collagen remodeling. Using Radio Frequency technology coupled with microneedling, has been very effective in helping rebuild the body’s natural collagen production. This renewal of deeper layers of the skin is safe and effective for all skin types, with minimal downtime.

How does Morpheus8 work?

Using a small handheld device, medical technicians are given a new way to rejuvenate skin on both face and body.

While microneedling has long ago helped with smoothing out stretch marks, minimizing pores and softening fine lines, radio frequency has been well known to help with the treatment of skin laxity. Combining the two methods of microneedling and radio frequency, triggers a unique healing response that offers minimal downtime with optimal results. Small little pins are inserted in the skin helping release collagen and elastin. While the heat that is generated by radio frequency, causes the skin to contract.

Ultimately, leaving skin to appear tighter and more rejuvenated, improving month to month overtime. Morpheus8 is very useful in reducing the appearance of fine lines, improves skin laxity and texture. Helps improve acne scars as well as minimizing sun damage.

As it is a non-invasive treatment, most patients will return to normal activities within 24-48 hours after treatment. Temporary redness or skin irritation may last up to 5 days. Most patients will tolerate treatment very well. To ensure our patient’s comfort, the technician will apply a topical numbing cream to the treatment area.

When can I expect to see results after a Morpheus8 treatment and how long does it last?

Some patients may observe the benefits of an improved skin tone and texture shortly after their first treatment. These results will continue to improve as the skin heals and new collagen and elastin are formed. Results can be obtained 3 months after the initial treatment. Everyone’s ageing process is different. This timeline depends on factors such as age, genetics, and lifestyle. As our skin ages, maintenance treatments are encouraged to keep it looking great for years to come. The time-lapse between maintenance treatments will vary significantly from person to person. The technician will be able to assess the patient’s needs and the frequency between treatments.

*Individual results may vary.
